Accurate level measurement is critical — from EPA-compliant reporting in municipalities to maximizing process efficiency and profitability in industrial plants. FLO-CORP provides a complete range of non-contact and guided level monitoring solutions engineered to deliver precision, reliability, and long-term performance in even the most challenging environments. Our level measurement sensors are designed to support mission critical applications such as monitoring fuel levels in back-up generator systems, chemical tank level monitoring, oil level and used cooking oil monitoring, and other processes where precise measurement is essential. From industrial level sensors to innovative monitoring technologies, FLO-CORP delivers dependable performance and peace of mind for all your level management needs.
At the forefront of our lineup is the Tracer Air™ Through-Air Radar Level Transmitter, a state-of-the-art 80 GHz FMCW radar instrument designed for non-contact liquid and solid level measurement. The Tracer Air™ delivers exceptional accuracy and repeatability, even in harsh, dusty, or vapor-filled tanks, and is unaffected by temperature, pressure, or changes in the material’s dielectric properties — making it ideal for fuel storage, chemical processing, and water/wastewater applications.
Generator sets (gensets) are highly sensitive to reliability issues. Because emergency generators often remain idle for long periods, they must perform flawlessly the instant external power is lost. Absolute dependability is essential to keep critical infrastructure—such as AI data centers, call centers, cell towers, businesses, and especially hospitals—operating without interruption. In remote locations, a genset may even serve as the sole power source, making consistent performance vital when maintenance access is limited.
Fuel level sensors in these applications must operate accurately regardless of changes in fuel type or quality. Even minor variations—such as topping off a diesel tank with a non-standard blend or switching to a different fuel brand—should not compromise measurement integrity. FMCW radar and ultrasonic Level sensors are well suited for these environments, as they remain unaffected by such differences such as the liquid’s specific gravity changes. Capacitive level sensors, float switches and float sensors are all negatively affected by changes in liquid properties. Non-contacting radar and ultrasonic sensors remain the best choice for genset applications.
